Media Education (English)

INTRODUCTION
Media education allows people becoming media literate therefore capable to critically understand the media messages and productions.
Education strategies worldwide are promoting a connection between classroom learning and the real world bringing media contents into the classroom for analysis and assessment.
Media education incorporates production of media texts and critical thinking – interpreting, analyzing and assessing media – to help understanding an increasingly complex media world.
Media issues are complex and often controversial, the educator’s role is to facilitate the process of inquiry and dialogue.
