Erasmus+, 11 new European projects approved for Pixel

2017 Call

11 new European projects, in which Pixel is involved either as coordinator or as partner, have been recently approved by the European Commission in the framework of the Erasmus+ Programme.

 

The approved projects are the following.

 

The European project entitled Pathway Through Religions was written and coordinated by Pixel in cooperation with the project applicant CIPAT, based in Florence (Italy). The project was funded by the Erasmus+ Programme, KA2 - Strategic Partnership in the field of School Education. The Pathway Through Religions European project has the objective to deal with complex classroom realities resulting from migration and refugees phenomenon, by making available teaching methods, materials and tools for the promotion among students of a mutual understanding of different religions.

 

The European project entitled Do Well Science was written and coordinated by Pixel in cooperation with the project applicant and scientific coordinator Liceo Statale Niccolò Machiavelli, based in Florence (Italy). The project was funded by the Erasmus+ Programme, KA2 - Strategic Partnership in the field of School Education.  The Do Well Science European project aims at increasing secondary students learning results in scientific subjects such as maths, physics and natural sciences.

 

The European project entitled Off Book was written and coordinated by Pixel in cooperation with the project applicant and scientific coordinator University of Klaipeda (Lithuania). The project was funded by the Erasmus+ Programme, KA2 - Strategic Partnership in the field of School Education.  The general objective of the Off Book European project is to improve secondary school teachers' intercultural competences and to promote the use of new educational methods to make school environment more inclusive, thus promoting non-discrimination and reducing early school leaving.

 

The European project entitled TIK (Tradition and Innovation @ Kindergarten) was written and coordinated by Pixel in cooperation with the project applicant, the Municipality of Guada Ssuar (Spain). The project was funded by the Erasmus+ Programme, KA2 - Strategic Partnership in the field of School Education.  The TIK European project aims to improve pre-school pupils’ basic and transversal competences through the transnational comparison of traditional tales.

 

The European project entitled SWOT (Skills for Work Opportunities in Eno-gastronomy and Tourism), written and coordinated by Pixel in cooperation with the project applicant and scientific coordinator Casa Corpului Didactic based in Tirgu Mures (Romania), was  funded by the Erasmus+ Programme, KA2 - Strategic Partnership in the field of VET Education. The SWOT European project is addressed to VET providers and companies. The project aims at improving their cooperation in order to develop Work Based Learning approaches and market oriented training offer for the Tourism Sector.

 

The European project entitled V4T (Videogames 4 Teachers), written and coordinated by Pixel in cooperation with the project applicant and scientific coordinator University of Valencia (Spain), was  funded by the Erasmus+ Programme, KA2 - Strategic Partnership in the field of Higher Education. The V4T European project is aimed at providing future teachers with a comprehensive reflection on the innovation of didactic methods focusing in particular on the use of videogames in education.

 

The European project entitled GoScience is written and coordinated by Zinev Art Technologies based in Sofia (Bulgaria) and involves Pixel in the transnational partnership. The project was funded by the Erasmus+ Programme, KA2 - Strategic Partnership in the field of School Education. The aim of the GoScience European project is to promote students’ creativity with the aim of making scientific knowledge better understandable and increase their functional literacy in STEM subjects.

The European project entitled Eldora (Education for Local Development of Rural Areas) is written and coordinated by the Agency for the Support of Regional Development based in Kosice (Slovakia) and involves Pixel in the transnational partnership. The project was funded by the Erasmus+ Programme, KA2 - Strategic Partnership in the field of VET Education. The Eldora European project is aimed at strengthening the key competences and skills of young people and leaders in rural areas in order to help them starting a social enterprise to increase economic development of rural areas and to prevent brain drain phenomenon.

 

The European project entitled Delta (Developing Expertise in Learning and Training Assessment in the workplace) is written and coordinated by D&A College based in Dundee (United Kingdom) and involves Pixel in the transnational partnership. The project was funded by the Erasmus+ Programme, KA2 - Strategic Partnership in the field of VET Education. The Delta European project aims to improve the cooperation between VET colleges and companies, to promote a training culture amongst companies and to ensure quality in work-based learning training initiatives.

 

The European project entitled Flipped Classrooms is written and coordinated by Liceul Tehnologic de Mecatronica si Automatizari based in Iasi (Romania) and involves Pixel in the transnational partnership. The project was funded by the Erasmus+ Programme, KA2 - Strategic Partnership in the field of VET Education. The Flipped Classrooms European project has the objective to develop professional and pedagogic competences among teachers and trainers enhancing Information and Communication Technologies (ICT) uptake in teaching and learning, through the support and the access to open educational resources (OER).

 

The European project entitled VET – GPS (Guiding tools for Professional Skills development in VET) is written and coordinated by Mentortec (Serviços de Apoio a Projectos Tecnológicos) based in Matosinhos  (Portugal) and involves Pixel in the transnational partnership. The project was funded by the Erasmus+ Programme, KA2 - Strategic Partnership in the field of VET Education. The VET – GPS European project aims to promote the acquisition, the development and the assessment of soft skills by trainees attending VET training, so as to promote their personal development, social participation and workplace success.
