European Project for the Promotion of Immigrants’ Education

Training course on the Migis platform

Once produced the 2IMINED e-platform, Pixel organized a training course to test the created packages with immigrants’ educators and immigrants. In Italy 70 immigrants and 5 immigrants’ educators have been asked to participate in the testing of MigIS. The process of involvement was carried out thanks to the support and the cooperation with NGO’s and associations dealing with immigrants’ assistance and hospitality. In particular, the NGO’s and associations involved in the recruitment of participants in the testing were: Caritas Firenze, Anelli Mancanti, Associazione culturale del Bangladesh, Coeso, LIMO, Albatros 1973. Some of the feedbacks received by immigrants: “finally just one container where we (immigrant) can find clear and consistent information for our everyday life. In particular, I appreciated the part addressed to the job search”, “MigIS definitively helped me to understand – and to feel part of – the Italian culture”.
