European Project on Performing Arts and Drama Theatre in Education

The Fourth Transnational Meeting

Pixel organized and coordinated the fourth meeting of the European project entitled Off Book, which was held on 21 – 22 October 2019 at Teatro Stabile in Grosseto (Italy). The European project entitled Off Book was funded by the European Commission in the framework of the Erasmus+ Programme, KA2 - Strategic Partnership for school education. The Off Book European project has been written and coordinated by Pixel in cooperation with the project applicant University of Klaipeda (Lithuania) as well as with the scientific coordinator the University of Siena (Italy). The Off Book European project is aimed at improving secondary school teachers' intercultural competences and promoting the use of new educational methods to make school environment less “judgemental” and more inclusive, thus promoting non-discrimination and reducing early school leaving. During the meeting, European project partners finalized all the deliverables produced, with a specific focus on the Teachers’ Guidelines and the Video Tutorials. On the second day, all project partners participated in the final performance organized by Teatro Stabile di Grosseto, involving students and experimenting the theatrical approach developed in the last 2 years.
