Second Transnational Meeting

The EthicalAI second partners' meeting took place in San José (CR) on 26– 27 January 2026. This gathering represented a crucial milestone in the consortium’s efforts to harmonize artificial intelligence integration within higher education. The meeting brought together academic representatives and researchers from Costa Rica, Peru, Spain, and Italy, fostering a cross-continental dialogue on the ethical implications of emerging technologies. More specifically the meeting focused on: Regulatory Frameworks: engaging the academic community to establish international forums for ethical AI best prectices; Capacity Building: strenghtening the skills of lecturers in Costa Rica and Peru to manage AI ethically in the classroom; Global Recommendations: developing adaptable, comprehensive guidelines aligned with international standards. More information about the EthicalAI European project is available at: https://www.ethicalaiucr.info/index.php
