European Project on Innovative Teaching Solutions inspired by Chess
Second Transnational Meeting
The second partners' meeting of the ChessAiThon project took place in Florence (IT) on 26 - 27 March 2026. Pixel (IT) and the IES Simarro (ES) organized and coordinated the second transnational partners meeting of the European project ChessAiThon – Chess Artificial Intelligence Hackathon. The ChessAiThon project, funded by the Erasmus+ Programme, KA2 Cooperation Partnership In the field of VET, aims to aims to support VET teachers in implementing the most innovative teaching solutions based on the use of universal language of Chess. The main discussed topics were: presentation and peer review of the contents of the methodology addressed to VET trainers to guide them in making full use of Chess with VET students to develop among them a more aware and practical oriented comprehension of principles of coding and artificial intelligence and to reinforce transversal key competences through problem based learning approaches; presentation of the AI based platform for playing chess; presentation of the administrative rules and the Dissemination and Sustainability activities.
