European Project REMEDIA

First Transnational Meeting

University of Florence (IT) organized and coordinated the first meeting of the European project entitled “REMEDIA”, which took place in Florence (IT) on 22 October 2026, supported by Pixel. The project has been written and coordinated by the project applicant University of Florence (IT) in cooperation with Pixel. The REMEDIA project aims to empower educators with innovative strategies and digital tools tailored to today's complex information environment. By analyzing historical propaganda channels REMEDIA enables teachers and students to critically reflect on how media shapes public opinion and collective memory. Ultimately, these activities will foster critical thinking and generate valuable insights to develop new pathways for European democratic and civic education, transforming remembrance into an active, future-oriented practice. All partners participated in the meeting, and the main topics discussed were: the administrative rules; the activities and related indicators for WP1 Digital Archive; the training course for the teachers on WP2 and related lesson plans; the activities with the students as well as the dissemination activities.
