In-Service Teachers Training on Videogames for Education

In the framework of the Play the Learning Game European project, Pixel is organizing two in-service training seminars addressed to teachers and trainers, aiming at enhancing their capability to use and combine Videogames, Multimedia and e-learning for educational purposes. The seminars will be held in Florence at the Pixel site on the following dates: 8-10 and 22-24 April 2013. During those days, the following topics will be discussed and analyzed: eLearning based teaching materials, focusing on the main subject areas taught in European secondary schools; videogames which have been evaluated and reviewed for their educational potential by European secondary school teachers; softwares that can be used to produce innovative e-learning based educational material and videogames with an educational purpose.
