In the framework of the European project entitled Play the Learning Game, on 8, 9 and 10 April, Pixel organized the first in-service training seminar addressed to teachers, aiming at enhancing their skills to use and combine Videogames, Multimedia and e-learning for educational purposes. The seminar was held by Prof. Antonio Cioffi from the University of Fine Arts of Brera who is an expert of new technologies and multimedia in education. The training focused on: eLearning based teaching materials, focusing on the main subject areas taught in European secondary schools; videogames which have been evaluated and reviewed for their educational potential by European secondary school teachers; softwares that can be used to produce innovative e-learning based educational material and videogames with an educational purpose.
