8 New European Projects Approved for Pixel

2020 Calls for Proposals

8 new European projects, in which Pixel is involved either as coordinator or as partner, have been recently approved by the European Commission in the framework of the Erasmus+ Programme, Strategic Partnerships and Capacity Building Actions. The approved projects are the following.

 

The European project entitled KeyCode – Key Competences for Young Europeans: Education to Empathy and Interculturality was written and coordinated by Pixel in cooperation with the project applicant, RenaSup based in Paris (Paris), and the scientific coordinator, University of Siena based in Siena (Italy). The project was funded by the Erasmus+ Programme, KA2 - Strategic Partnerships for School Education. The aim of the KeyCode project is to expand the curricula of secondary schools with educational experiences that enhance the key competences of pupils based on empathy, active citizenship and cultural awareness concerning EU values.

 

The European project entitled CUT! Preventing alcohol abuse among pre-adolescents was written and coordinated by Pixel in cooperation with the project applicant, Zespol Szkolno-Przedszkolny w Halinowie based in Halinów (Poland), and the scientific coordinator, AIDD – Associazione Italiana contro la Diffusione del Disagio giovanile based in Milan (Italy). The project was funded by the Erasmus+ Programme, KA2 - Strategic Partnerships for School Education. The aim of the CUT! project is to limit the use and abuse of alcohol among pre-adolescents and adolescents by focusing on prevention and awareness.

 

The European project entitled VIW – Voices of Immigrant Women was written and coordinated by Pixel in cooperation with the project applicant Universidad Pablo de Olavide, based in Seville (Spain), and the scientific coordinator University of Florence, based in Florence (Italy). The project was funded by the Erasmus+ Programme, KA2 - Strategic Partnerships for Higher Education. The project aims at answering to University students’ need of a more in-depth and holistic comprehension of the gender issues in migration flows, promoting an enhanced civic and social responsibility to make them the protagonists of present and future commitment to migrant.

 

The European project entitled Cosy Thinking – Enhancing higher education on COmplex SYstems Thinking for sustainable development was written and coordinated by Pixel in cooperation with the project applicant Sodertorns Hogskola, based in Huddinge (Sweden), and the scientific coordinator, University of Perugia, based in Perugia (Italy). The project was funded by the Erasmus+ Programme, KA2 - Strategic Partnerships for Higher Education. The Cosy Thinking project aims at providing undergraduate students with competences on complex systems thinking and academic lecturers and managerial staff with knowledge, skills and tools for adapting their educational activities with a specific focus on sustainable development by integrating complex systemic thinking.

 

The European project entitled Psych.E.In. – Psychological early intervention: clinical training was written and coordinated by Pixel in cooperation with the project applicant and scientific coordinator Uniwersytet Jana Kochanowskiego W Kielcach based in Kielce (Poland). The project was funded by the Erasmus+ Programme, KA2 - Strategic Partnerships for Vocational Education and Training. The Psych.E.In project aims at supporting opportunities for psychologists, psychotherapists and psychoanalysts and for their VET trainers in acquiring and developing key clinical competences in Psychological Early Intervention to support health and wellbeing in direct and indirect victims in in humanitarian emergencies.

 

The European project entitled MYH4D – Move your Hands for Dementia was written and coordinated by Pixel in cooperation with the project applicant and scientific coordinator Azienda Sanitaria Locale TO3 based in Turin (Italy). The project was funded by the Erasmus+ Programme, KA2 - Strategic Partnerships for Adult Education. The MYH4D project aims at supporting adult and senior educators in the extending and developing competences on educating dementia health literacy to adults and seniors.

 

The European project entitled CARE - Enhancing Early Childhood Education and Care in Palestine was written and coordinated by Al-Quds Open University based in Ramallah (Palestine) with the support of Pixel, which is involved in the transnational partnership. The project was funded by the Erasmus+ Programme, Capacity Building in Higher Education. The CARE project aims at ensuring sustainable delivery of early childhood services in Palestine through government’s commitment and strengthened partnership with universities, families and relevant institutions.

 

The European project entitled Golden Ratio was written and coordinated by Foundation of Cultural and Business Potential of Civil Society (FDCBPCS) based in Sofia (Bulgaria) and involves Pixel in the transnational partnership. The project was funded by the Erasmus+ Programme, KA2 - Strategic Partnerships for School Education. The Golden ratio project aims at supporting teachers in adopting a teaching approach called the “golden ratio teaching”, which translates into using an array of teaching techniques and positive attitudes in every class the teachers lead, for the purpose of improving students’ attention, comprehension and knowledge retention.
