European Project promoting Plant Breeding and Biotechnology

Kickoff Meeting

Pixel participated in the kickoff meeting of the European project entitled BREEDTECH – Building Capacity in Plant Breeding and Biotechnology Education and Research through partnership program in Africa, Middle East and Europe for Agricultural transformation which took place on 7 – 8 May 2024 in Egerton (Kenya). The European project entitled BREEDTECH has been written and coordinated by the project applicant University of Egerton (Kenya) and involved Pixel in the transnational partnership. The project was funded by the Erasmus+ Programme, Capacity Building in the field of Higher Education. The BREEDTECH project aims at building the capacity in plant breeding and biotechnology education and research in Africa, Middle East, and Europe. During the first meeting, the project partners introduced themselves as well as their project’s related experiences and expertise. The main activities to be carried out were presented and discussed, as well as the templates to be used.
