Pixel participated in the second meeting of the European project entitled BREEDTECH – Building Capacity in Plant Breeding and Biotechnology Education and Research through partnership program in Africa, Middle East and Europe for Agricultural transformation which took place on 20 – 21 November 2024 at Haramaya University based in Haramaya (Ethiopia). The European project entitled BREEDTECH has been written and coordinated by the project applicant University of Egerton (Kenya) and involved Pixel in the transnational partnership. The project was funded by the Erasmus+ Programme, Capacity Building in the field of Higher Education. The BREEDTECH project aims at building the capacity in plant breeding and biotechnology education and research in Africa, Middle East, and Europe. During the second meeting, the project partners analyzed the current version of the Quality Plan, planned the trainings related to the second Work Package, and defined the Curricula Upgrades with reference to the third Work Package.
