Farmers Parliament (LVFP) is the strongest commercial farmer’s NGO in Latvia (900 members) with a well-developed cooperation network in the rural development sector (rural NGOs, sector service institutions, SMEs, education institutions, experts) and an excellent public relations and lobbying record in the decision making bodies of the sector. Farmers Parliament has extensive experience in developing and providing education and information services to the farming community and is actively involved in the development of the VET system in the agriculture sector, as well as the legislative framework for rural entrepreneurship and development.
