The University of Zadar was established in 2003 as an integrated higher education institution. Since then, practical experience has shown that this organizational model is very suitable for a university of its size. At the University of Zadar, bachelor's, master's and postgraduate programmes are offered in 27 departments from seven scientific fields: Humanities, Social Sciences, Natural Sciences, Engineering, Biotechnology, Interdisciplinary Sciences, and Biomedicine and Health.
