Stichting Metabolic Ventures is a non-profit organization within the Metabolic ecosystem of organizations, based in the Netherlands. Its primary activity is building new ventures that can have a transformational impact on the economy, environment, and society. Additionally, it assists other organizations in incorporating aligned principles into their own venture-building endeavours. Metabolic Ventures takes on the role of an innovation enabler, dedicated to building the necessary infrastructure to drive systems change through entrepreneurial initiatives. Metabolic Ventures has a track record of delivering cutting-edge projects that foster venture-driven systems change. It has gained substantial experience in the food and agricultural sector through its venture studio, Fresh Ventures, which builds new companies that accelerate a circular and regenerative food system. It has also implemented capacity building and training for the SoTechIn (HE) project. Furthermore, the team is building relevant transferable experience in the GOV4ALL (HE) project by enabling living labs for soil health to function as independent organizations, helping them identify their mission and business model. Metabolic Ventures is composed of a team of experts in venture building and program management.
