Avalon

The Avalon project was funded by the European Commission in the framework of the lifelong learning programme - KA3 - ICT. This project was promoted and coordinated by the University of Manchester (UK). Pixel was the subcontractor in charge of the project quality management and evaluation. The project had the objective to promote the use of virtual worlds, and of Second Life in particular, in the language teaching process at university level.
