Connected 4 Health: A Medical and Humanities-based Approach to Navigating Obesity and Eating Disorders (EDs) in Young People
The European project entitled Connected 4 Health was written and coordinated by the project applicant and scientific coordinator University of Targu Mures, based in Targu Mures (Romania) ) in cooperation with Pixel, also supporting the coordination of the planning process. The project was funded by the European Commission in the framework of the Erasmus+ Programme, KA2 - Cooperation Partnerships in Higher Education. The Connected4Health project proposes a connected interdisciplinary action expects to achieve an in-depth understanding of obesity, EDs, their stigma and harm from grassroots levels (historical, social, personal perspective), deconstructing current narratives in the public discourses and creating a new narrative that will contribute to the reduction of body-shape stigma and bias.
