The European project entitled Tiramisu – First Aid Improve Survival was written and coordinated by Pixel in cooperation with the project applicant CIPAT, based in Florence, and the scientific coordinator University of Genova. The project was funded by the European Commission in the framework of the Erasmus+ Programme, KA2 - Strategic Partnerships for School Education. The aim of the Tiramisu European project is to deliver first-aid training to teachers and to develop an innovative transnational training course on first aid, health and safety practices based on the simulation approach.

Objectives
The aims of the Tiramisu project are:
- To improve skills and competences of school teachers on First Aid and health and safety
- To test at EU level an innovative transnational training course on First Aid and health and safety

Results
The main project results include:
- An e-learning training course for teachers and students on the human being anatomy and physiology
- A First Aid Handbook providing a full set of instructions on "what to do in an emergency"
- A simulation based learning environment to test the capacity to make appropriate choices when facing an emergency.
